- man wollte meine ausländische Aufenthaltskarte kopieren, was für Ausländer die in Japan leben nicht notwendig ist, habe ich auch gesagt, aber dann gesagt bekommen, dass das die Regel sei, durfte dann aber trotzdem aufs Zimmer ohne Kopie (mich hat es gewundert weil im Smile Hotel auf der Westseite in Utsunomiya nicht gefragt/darauf bestanden wurde) - Frühstückscoupons wurden beim Einchecken nicht ausgehändigt, deswegen stand ich wie ein ausländischer Trottel im Frühstücksraum und alle haben mich angeguckt obwohl ich eigentlich nichts falsch gemacht habe, sah halt blöd aus für mich, das Personal hat sich aber wenigstens entschuldigt (war mir halt peinlich weil ich mit schon Frühstück auf der Hand darauf warten musste bis mir jemand Bescheid gegeben hat, dass das legal war frühstücken zu gehen, hatte ja gebucht) - ich wollte einen offiziellen Kassenzettel haben, mir wurde gesagt, dass das online gebucht wurde und ich mir das nur im Internet runterladen kann, als ich im Internet geguckt habe steht auf dem Ausdruck drauf, dieser Kassenzettel kann nicht für offizielle Steuererklärungen etc. benutzt werden, diesen kann man sich nur vor Ort an der Rezeption abholen (ich kannte das schon von vorherigen Reisen ich hatte das aber vergessen deswegen habe ich einfach nur ja danke gesagt) - zusammenfassend habe ich mich wegen der Rezeption sehr abgefertigt gelassen gefühlt, und es hat einen nicht sehr professionellen Eindruck auf diese hinterlassen, weil drei Sachen einfach falsch von der Rezeption waren

Not worth the money
The room was clean.
It was a non-smoking room but it still smelled like burnt cigarettes. The bathroom was way too small and the shower curtain keeps on sticking on your body.

3 beds, budget stay
There is a coffee server for free coffee at the front door, and a coin laundry on the first floor. I never had to wait for the elevator. It was quiet. Our room came with kettle, hair dryer, three lamps, humidifier and comfortable third bed of about the same size as the other beds. Staff were at the desk and obliging. For example we are three people in one room with one key so the front desk clerk said if need be, he could use his key to open the room. Also, I am glad pay parking was easily accessible via the back door.
It`s an old building. The room had a musty smell. I would have liked a choice of pillows like competitors offer. The humidifier machine didn`t seem to be working the second night, though it was great for the first night. The toilet was running for a long time, from when we first used it until we came back hours later, but I somehow fixed that. I wasn`t sure if the knob by the door was for a fan or heater (multilingual info would be great). We had to use pay parking for two days (Y1400 total I think)
